MILLEDGEVILLE — Riding and caring for a horse may seem like fun, but one
organization is using 12 trotters to teach children and teens about the
values of life, trust, family and faith while forming and building
relationships with one another through a two-week summer camp. HorseDreams
Youth Ranch is a non-denominational faith-based organization that provides
at-risk youth with hands-on experiences interacting with and caring for
horses in a nurturing environment, starting from the ground and building
up to the saddle. Union -Recorder.com |

Times-Georgian News - Carrollton, Georgia While employed in the graphic design/ad composing department for The Newspapers of West Georgia from Sept '08 - April '09, I was able to help renovate the atmosphere in employee lunch/break room. The walls were painted with semi gloss pale yellow and black below chair rail height with winding 3D red and white stripes to separate the two colors. The mural is located on an adjacent wall depicting the many aspects of newspaper production and departments that bring you the news in West Georgia through 10 different papers. You are invited to view some of my graphic design example here |

East Coweta High School- Sharpsburg, Georgia Right outside Newnan, Ga is the location of East Coweta High School. The new school year in 2008 brought with it a new principal and a new look for the front offices building. The mascot of Indians were used throughout the front hall including the sky lighted tray ceiling that greets you as you enter the building. Columns, a display cabinet, a message board and over doorway mural were just some of the embellishments that were added. |

| The theme for this little boys room is Race Cars to match his bed. The model was the Grand Prix Race in the Hills of France. The mural is flanked with trees in the foreground to bring a nice transition to the painted wall. Notice the tires leaning up against the tree on the left and the road was meant to look as if the bed were coming into the room from the track. Samples on the right are cars in the background near the top of the curves. | ![]() |
![]() | The
Braves Stadium comes alive in this little boy's room utilizing an architecctural feature on the left. The Wall wasl painted to simulate inside the dugout looking out to the field. The opposite wall in the room over the desk area carries the same "block " finish with a few more more hats to bring the entire room together. |

| Jennifer Smith Monroe, Georgia The Smith's two sons are sports fans like most kids. In one of their bedrooms, baseball was the theme created from inside the stadium from the ondeck circle. The spectators illusion as in the Collins stadium was used and the image of the son was added -getting ready to bat . The jersey on the opposite end of the wall brought in the favorite college team as well. | ![]() |
| The older brother's room utilized the theme of the SEC mascots with University of Georgia as the powerhouse. Because of the position needed for the bed, "Hairy Dog" used his strength to propel the others over into a mascot pile. GO Dawgs, paws, and a jersey over the mirror and dresser brought the room design together. | |
